Marina is a survivor. A victim to traumas and horrors of being abducted into slavery at a young age have left the young woman mentally and emotionally scarred and guarded. She has a natural distrust of strangers and views all men's intentions with suspicion and doubt. What this had taught her is to never let her spirit be broken. Even in the face of the most excruciating pain and torment, she will never give her captors the satisfaction of seeing her give in.

A fighter through and through, Marina is stubborn to a fault even at her own expense and doesn't shy away from a confrontation, so long as it doesn't put herself in life-threatening danger. Feisty and fiery, Marina has a bad habit of speaking her mind. Her comments can sometimes come across as snarky or sarcastic... probably because they are. Marina speaks sarcasm like a second language, using it as a coping mechanism to survive the everyday ordeals she's had to endure.

One of her more personal and secretive traits is her spirituality. Raised with deep-seated spiritual beliefs by her family, her culture and customs are deeply important to her. This includes her personal, almost essential, connection to a sapphire pendant she wears around her neck at all times. She is never without it on her person, though she will not share the reasons for the importance of it.

As sharp mentally as she is with her tongue or claws, Marina is a keenly observant wolf, paying attention to her surroundings and the other wolves around her. Learning is her pastime, imagination is her escape, and information is an invaluable commodity to her, as it helps keep her alive in her enslavement. Though many dismiss her as being "just a girl" or reserved and guarded, still waters run deep, and there's a depth to this fae's mind that goes on for miles.

Above all else, nothing is more important to Marina than family. Whether it's by blood or bonds forged by choice, Marina is willing to die to protect and care for the ones she loves—although those are few and far between now. There is a part of this woman's soul that yearns to return home to the family she was taken from, but she can't help but wonder after all this time if she even has a home left to go back to... personality
