Appearance

The canvas of this mercinary’s coat is a deep rich black, like the silent hues of night. The beginnings of light can be seen in the flecks of amber and red that burn across his middle like embers in the breeze across a dark sky. These burning tones alight across his muzzle, his cheeks, his ruff and midriff. They brush beneath his eye, and dance across the tips of his ears. They burn patterns down his back in growing width, and down the length of glossy tail. He is a sea of black on fire, and his feet are the rising flames. With lighter tones of amber’s and reds that cooler to pale yellows across his toes. .

A dagger sits just above the turning point of his wrist. Held there by a slim sheath, both painted in deep pitch black. The type that is invisible once darkness falls.

His eyes are a deep silver, like molten lead, swirling and ever changing. So pale they can deceive and give the impression of blindness. There is seldom any true emotion that can be seen here. His pads are black as though he walks on coals, and the silver daggers that slip between his lips are unnaturally long, and stand as a birthright he has no knowledge or claim to

Personality


Sly: There is little about his true self revealed to strangers. A cunning wolf, comfortable with subterfuge or violence to get his way. Despite how easily he can resort to drawing blood, he’s more likely to try a subtler approach before driving in with brute force. He has a silky soft voice that sounds stunningly sincere, and he wields it with the precision of a warrior.

Cruel: With an upbringing that did not leave much room for kindness, he is unlikely to give it in return. Not sincerely, or without an ulterior motive. He’s quite comfortable using wolves around him as a stepping stone. To save his own skin, or to help him rise up in the world. This cruelty isn’t always immediately obvious, and when he makes a move, sometimes it is simply one step in a larger plan.

Ambitious: The best way to survive this world, is to be stronger than it. With morals dipped deeply in grey, he is one who is likely to gravitate towards strong forces. But as he would never be a willing victim, the forces would have to be just right to truly draw him in.

Charming: Despite everything else about this wolf, he can be a terribly charming character. Comfortable making others laugh, and inviting you in with the warmth of it. He’s a handsome devil, and he’s not above spinning it to get him what he wants. Sometimes, that can be as simple as companionship, a moment of warmth, or a free meal.
