There's a lot going on with Erebus, though most of it is due to his condition. Plagued with albinism and a few of the unfortunate smaller problems that come with it, the pale man is more pink and red than white and grey. In the places were his fur grows thin, it barely grows in at all due to his near constant sunburn, blisters, and dry peeling skin. All along his face and his lower limbs is patchy at best, leaving the rest of his coat really only to be described as thin and of poor quality, coarse and unkempt. Though his skin isn't his only problem, it's much harder to deal with than his blindness. Born with poorly formed eyes, seemingly too small for the space they were given, Erebus' eyes appear lost in the flesh inside the socket and only allow him to see shapes in the brightest of lights. He's lucky to have his other senses to take over, probably one of the only things keeping him alive in this cruel world. Like his patchy fur, patches of grey splash across him, primarily located on his face, waist, and forelegs. A few specks of grey break up the white on his body, but more the most part it sticks together.

Erebus is no stranger to servitude. Even his own parents treated him as some kind slave in his youth before selling him off to the traders. Despite this and everything else life struck him with, Erebus is more than intelligent. Though it seems par for the course that he finds little reason to speak, only in the most necessary situations and really only to Morbid. He has no desire to socialize with others, finding the boring chatter more than annoying to his sensitive hearing. His hearing isn’t the only thing heightened either, his sense of smell is far stronger than normal as they try to make up for his loss of sight. For this reason, Erebus also can’t stand being dirty or being around dirty things. Call him a clean freak, but he isn’t shy about making Morbid take a bath or getting mad when he tracks all sorts of foul smells in.

Most only know Erebus as one of two things – a hollow shell of a man obedient to Morbid, or a borderline feral beast that doesn’t fear death. There is little reason for the man to act out now, though he is known to be quite stubborn and very, very sassy. He can get ugly though, and quick. It’s not really hard to push his buttons these days, but doing so won’t end well since once Erebus is done, Morbid will want a turn and he’s worse.
