They'd moved again. Another move, another exciting new place. Tama found himself more and more enchanted with each one they visited. He's comfortable, as long as his parents are close enough. A bit of a momma's boy, how could he not be? He had two whole moms to cling onto, and they were both great. The logic seemed sound to him. Mumma Cy had been a bit reclusive since the last move, something about her back hurting. Something else about being tired. Tama didn't really know what was wrong beyond what he heard her saying, but she seemed... sad. He'd have to do something about cheering her up.

And that's what brought him to the edge of the water, peering down carefully into it. Did he know how to swim? No. But how hard could it be! Tamago didn't really know, and he didn't really know what he'd do about sorting it out. Hm. What was a boy to do? The only answer in his mind was ask mom. Tipping his head back, he called out for her-- not urgently, just happily, in his plucky little puppy voice. "Mumma Cel, commere!" It's a soft, excited, wiggly young boy's call, after all.

A wave of relief has washed over Celeste as she is more than thankful that the Warlord has agreed to let them stay within Armada. Handling six puppies plus a band plus a very sad girlfriend was a lot for one girl to handle. While Oki was more than wonderful about supporting her, picking up the slack, and tending to Cy when she couldn’t, Celeste still worried. When had she become such a worrier?

She was worrying now as she paced. Back and forth, back and forth. If she wasn’t tending to something or hunting, it appeared that was all she did these days. Pace, pace, and pace some more. Only one thing would stop her pacing, her worrying and thankfully that came. A youthful puppy voice filled the air down by the river. Both her ears moved forward as her bright aquamarine gaze searched the shoreline. Ah, there he was. Quickly loping over to Tama with a smile on her face, Celeste began to relax.

“Tama, how can I help?” She queries in a soft tone as she reaches to nudge his cheek with her nose.

He stuck his paw out, swatting at the water. There was a lot of it, and he was very small... and didn't know how to swim. Not just yet. Maybe he could learn? That sounded good, actually. Swimming sounded like something that was probably nice to do, though maybe not quite here. What if he got sucked in by the waterfall? Maybe that wouldn't be so cool. He swats at it and splashes, curious and enchanted by it. That, and it was enough to break up the heat of the summer.

"Mumma!" His greeting was excited, paws tippy-tapping as he straightened himself up on the bank. "Mumma, the pretty rocks, they're at the bottom." Tama leaned into Celeste's greeting, gazing up into her soft aquamarine eyes. "I want to swim down and get them, and bring them to mummy." He explained, more thinking aloud than anything else. "But I don't know how to swim." There we go, there was the problem. A lot of words, but Tama got there in the end.

Celeste lets out a giggle as Tama returns her greeting. His excited tapping paws and wiggly body was sure to lead to a summer afternoon full of fun. Making sure that she was listening intently to her pup, Celeste hums and nods to his explanation. Ah-ha, so he wanted to get the pretty rocks at the bottom… Her gaze looks over to the waterfall that thundered not too far away. He really was still too young to be swimming in this river. Not even someone her size would ever really go in something so strong.

“I’m sure mummy will appreciate that,” Cel reaches out to nuzzle his cheek as her heart swells. The sweet boy knew Cy was having a hard time and she appreciated that their pup wanted to help. “I think we will learn to swim when we move to our next location. Lets see… Is there something we could use to help get those pretty rocks?” She brings a paw up to her lips as she looks around. “Do you think a long stick would work? Or maybe there’s a net back at camp we can use?” Cel put the ideas out there in hopes that Tama would forget about learning how to swim for now…
