Sparrow had been slow, stagnant lately. She needed to change that. She shook off the kids and made her way to the battlefield. She needed to just move for a little- to just think about moving and nothing else. She didn't want to chat, be friendly, have politeness and cordialities, she wanted to draw blood, even if just a little. Hopefully the battlefield could provide, given that it was for battles and all. Sparrow called out to no one in particular and waited while doing some stretches. She was antsy and wanted a win or even a loss. It was nothing personal, and she didn't want it to be.

There was something damn near religious about this place, and the very weight of it hung around the shadow's head like you wouldn't believe. Nearly intoxicating, Víðarr found it. As with all things that brought him closer to his gods, it made him walk a little taller, stand up a little straighter. Though they were always there, this was one of the places where they could see him best. He had to make a good impression. Víðarr had to make it count.

A call for no one in particular-- it just so happened that Víðarr was no one in particular. Well, at least to Sparrow he was. The shadow drew to an amenable distance, dipping his muzzle for just a moment in lieu of a greeting. "On your move," accent heavily coloring his words, but it was clear enough. He carefully placed his feet on the rough ground and steadied himself, as prepared as possible for whatever came next.

Sparrow wasn't sure who the acceptor of her challenger was and she didn't care to fin out. He approached, standing about as tall and large as she, and dipped his dark muzzle in greeting before he spoke. Sparrow wasn't even sure she heard the words through the rushing of her heartbeat in her ears. She let all of her thoughts drop away in a moment of peaceful silence before she kicked off, aiming to circle to the man's left. She aimed to charge his left, knowing might alone wouldn't topple someone as close to her in height and weight, and sought to use her left foreleg to pull his left foreleg out from his body just as she would simultaneously slammed into him.
