Hanako was in desperate need of a girls night. Ever since Meadow had left Hanako had been forced to deal with an itch she couldn't scratch, she liked her fellow pack mates well enough but their company just wasn't the same. Azure and Mortis aside, it all felt rather impersonal, as though she had to watch her words in case her mask slipped. So when she heard of Mortis' new (girl) friend of course she'd been eager to meet her, to see what the newcomer was made of, except that try as Hanako might it seemed as though she didn't want to be found. The Wraith checked in all the expected places, the barracks and communal space and nope- she hadn't even caught a single whiff of her!

It was only with a bit of digging Hanako found out that she'd secluded herself in Mortis' new den, all hidden away from prying eyes and ears. Sure, she understood the need for a bit of privacy but this seemed far too much! And thus Hanako concluded that it was her duty to help lure the Klein out of her shell. And oh she had such a fun time in store, by the time they were done Hanako was certain they'd be fast friends. Or so she hoped, toes crossed! Stooping beside the entrance of Mortis' den Hanako peeked her head inside a little.

"Psst Siren, you in there?"

Siren refused to go anywhere near the Ashen border, let alone make the conscious decision to leave the den that Mortis shared with her. The young girl was more than content to remain here, she was timid and didn’t know the lands she was in. She missed her island and the familiar lonely terrain. She was unsocialized, with a mix of old lessons in between and preferred the time Mortis couldn’t be with her to be spent alone. When an unfamiliar face encroached on her space Siren was quite startled.

She had been sitting sphynx like on a caribou hide, her incredibly long fur groomed to near perfection now that she had a generous caretaker. The she wolf’s aura was a similar color to her eyes, a bright trustworthy color, but that meant little to the tiny girl as she peered at the woman through her liquid silver eye.

”How do you know my name?” She asked accusingly, sinking into the fur beneath her as she tried to hide her fright. It was difficult when her tiny form shook so obviously.

Hanako took no offence to Siren's accusatory tone and instead pulled back a little to give her some more space. She knew that it could be tough to settle into a new place but there was something about the Klein's tone that marked her as a little strange. Mortis had mentioned that his friend was a little...shy but-well maybe it was just because Hanako didn't have much experience with dealing with shy people. If that was the case then it was about dang time to learn.  Leaning back on her haunches the Wraith brushed some dirt off her paw before she responded. She saw no reason to rush things along or corner Siren in the den, if she wanted to slip free then Hanako was giving her ample room to do so.

"Mortis told me. He's my friend!" She chirped, maintaining the the same soft but bubbly energy she carried when her friend was by her side. "I thought...maybe you'd wanna hang out, I saw some flying fish we could watch them together if you want."

But maybe she was pushing too hard to fast, shoving her exceptions at her as if Siren had any interest in playing along.
