Abyssinica
Build & Height: Balanced, 42"
Scent: Wormwood.
Coat: The perfect pallet of their mother and father. Abyss’ pelt primarily resembles the crimson hues of their father’s coat. Deep russets, marbled in lighter hues of ginger and beige, nearly cover them whole. But their paws, the square of their back, and the tip of their tail are ivory. The right side of their face is also devoid of color, swathed in the same ivory hue of their mother’s pelt. The line that splits down the center of their face is sharp, seeming to separate Abyss into two different wolves. A memoir of the Praetor and Inferos bloodlines.
Features: Androgynous. Abyss’ striking appearance is neither masculine or feminine, but a divine mix. Standing tall with a slender frame, long legs propel a muscular body towards the heavens. Their angular jawline is softened by high cheekbones, each feature exceptionally proportionate and captivating to the eye. They move with a graceful fluidity that is both captivating and enigmatic.
Eyes: A heterochromatic, bi-colored gaze that is captivating. Their left eye is bright, emerald green. Their left, a vivid amber that morphs into a deep crimson around the pupil.
appearanceLacking empathy, having a reluctance to express emotion, and capable of being quite insensitive at times. Indifferent to the feelings of others, they often dismiss or belittle, exploiting for their own gain without regard for consequences. They prioritize their own desires and ambitions over the well-being of others. Still, they are a methodical creature, highly logical and systemic in their ways.
Abyss displays a notable lack of warmth or compassion in their interaction with others. Unless it is one of their obsessions. Ahh, obsessions. It’s not easy to catch their attention, but once something does, Abyss becomes consumed by the fixation. They will become intensely focused, often to the exclusion of everything else in their life. Their obsession can lead to fanaticisms, causing them to devote an excessive amount of time and effort into their fixation. And they will seek to monopolize all the time and attention of their obsession. If the obsession is strong enough, it may require compulsive rituals to offer relief. Abyss may become overly touchy, craving affection and attention. Or they may become possessive, isolating their fixation if it means becoming closer. They very well end up on the wall of Abyss’ bedroom, just so they can marvel in the beauty of their obsession.
When it comes to familial bonds and obsessions, they are deeply fanatical. Fiercely loyal, not easily swayed, their loyalty stands firm even in the face of ridicule, opposition, persecution, etc. They see any resistance to their family as opposition, and believe enemies must be eradicated at all costs. It’s militant in a sense; fervently committed, and willing to use force or coercion to advance their agenda and defend their beliefs.
As they mature into their teenage years, Abyss will start suffering from psychological ailments. Like their father, they will experience blackouts and dissociative events that will be triggered by unknown catalysts. [Will develop in time.] A voice will beckon to them; a vivid hallucination that often blurs the line between reality and fantasy. Shadowy figures will lurk in the edges of their vision, whispering taunts and accusations into their ears, driving them to commit unholy acts.
