Rougarou

Rue takes primarily after her mother in terms of, well, nearly everything. Her base coat bears the same dark brown and black coloration as Medusa, however, near the base of her tail she has a subtle marking of dark purple fur that nearly blends into the dark fur. It's unnoticeable in the shadows but shows more under better lighting.

She wears similar skeletal markings as her mother, though hers are a bit more defined. The skull mask on her face, similar to the mask Medusa wears, envelops the entirety of her face, however, it's not the stark white mask that her mother has. Rue's mask is closer to a mixture of taupe and cream, with slightly more defined strips upon her jaw. On the bridge of her nose and upper lip, as well as around her deep red eyes, the mask does not touch and so she has black markings in those areas. The mask extends below her jaw as well. The rest of the girl's markings are mainly skeletal in appearance. Markings that mimic the vertebrae of the spine, shoulder, and leg bones, some wispy rib bones...slightly more defined than Medusa's. Yep, definitely her mother's child.

Her underside and paws are a lighter cream compared to the other markings, and she also has random wispy strands of gray-white fur on the back of her neck and tail.

Rue sometimes tends to herself and keeps herself well-groomed, or equal parts unkempt. It all depends on her mood, what she's gotten into, and how she wants to present herself. She's tall, lanky, mostly legs, has a plush tail, and her ears are a bit longer and pointier than average. Angled almond-shaped eyes and a slender muzzle, similar to that of a fox finish off her best features.

Oh, and she often smells like freshly turned earth, rot, or like a wet dog. You never know which one she'll smell like until she's already rubbing it off on you.

Don't expect a whole lot of loyalty from her. Even family might have a hard time keeping hers, though it all depends on how she feels, and is very much capable of turning her back and turning you in if it benefits her in one form or another. Yeah, she's that type. Though she may or may not love her family (who knows with her, really), she is the type to rat you out if again, she gets some benefit. Blackmail, coercion, what have you, she'll do it all. Of course, she does have these nifty little get out of jail free cards...if you can give her something she wants, she'll turn a blind eye and let you go on your merry way.
