Two Halves Of A Whole

Strix’s linage will be written out on his pelt, with the right half of him the dark, pure black of his father. Only his ear will break the smooth obsidian, a soft, smoky gray enveloping his right ear. An invisible divide keeps the inky darkness on his right side, with the exceptions to the unspoken rule being his left ear and saddle that runs a small stripe down his left side.

His left half is the grays of his mother’s, a darker fog gray covers most of his side, darken into a more steel color in some spots and lighting to a pale light gray in others. The palest parts of him are around his left eye, running down his muzzle alongside the black to lighten his lip, and his two left paws. Throughout his left side, small speckles of soft gray splatter him. Almost like an artist was flicking their paint brush over him.

Intelligent ~ Rebellious ~ Uninhibited

First and foremost, Strix will be highly intelligent. Preferring to watch others so he can learn why they do what they do, he will strive to be silent observer to many things. A yearning to know what makes things tick, the how’s and why’s of everything, including how the body works, will lead to a morbid curiosity about wolves’ bodies. This will drive him to follow in his mother’s pawprints, taking on the healing arts but for more malicious reasons. If Strix knows how a heart beats, then he can learn just the right way to make it stop.

Being born into royalty has its privileges and the boy will try to push the line every chance he gets. If he wants to leave the island he will try his best to do it. If his parents tell him to do a chore, he will see how long he hold out until they force him to. The rebelliousness of youth may be beaten out of him but, while young, he will try to vie for his parents’ attentions by doing everything they don’t want him to.

Strix will tell it as it is. He won’t care if it rubs others the wrong way, his feelings are more important.

All in all, Strix will be a spoiled shit unless others steer him on a different path.personality
