Keeping true to his namesake, Maverick is a bit of a wildcard. A rebel and a rogue, he tends to play by his own rules—or at least fast and loose with the ones he finds himself entangled in. He is a master of the loophole and the deal, a negotiator and barterer by definition. It's not that he has no regard for the law, he just sees it as something put in place to keep the well-behaved from having fun. Combine this morality with his natural charisma and charm and you have one sly, crafty Casanova on your hands. He has no trouble navigating social situations and finds himself comfortable in amongst a group of strangers as much as he does one-on-one with someone he knows well.

If his brother is the kind and soft-hearted one, Maverick can only be described as the wild child. With a love for adventure and a lust for new experiences, Maverick lives by a motto of "try everything twice". He is impulsive, but not reckless. Bold, but not stupid.
