Víðarr

Víðarr is tall, dark, and handsome-- there's no two ways about it. A large but elegant beast, he knows how to carry himself. The grace of a man who knows that power lives in his bones, and knows how to use it when pressed. Only when pressed. Fierce and wild, but not overtly threatening on first glance. There is control within him, and that control is a grace for everyone around him. A behemoth with an expression that doesn't often give away his feelings, and a pillar of strength. Stacked muscle and a dense coat, it's undeniable that he's powerful and not to be trifled with.

This is a man with a deep, inky black coat that lays thickly on his frame. He has pale silvery highlights splashed across his cheekbones and the fronts of his shoulders. A slightly deeper silvery grey plays across his topline, fading quickly into black as it drops down his body. His eyes are a dimensional, icy silver blue.

Víðarr is named for the god of vengeance, and he embodies that in every way possible. There is no slight too small for him to hold onto, though not necessarily easily offended. It depends on his mood, it depends on the day... some days his humor is better than others. No, not needlessly an asshole, Víðarr is something else entirely.

Honestly, this man isn't much of a talker. The strong and silent type, and has few words. Though Víðarr will bank on this making him seem mysterious, and he can rely on his good looks and charm, in part it's also because his English is not the best. Still, the man's body language speaks volumes.

Above all, Víðarr is intense. If he's going to do anything, it's with great heart. Full effort or no effort, there is no in between. There will never be an in between, and things with Víðarr are very black and white. Enemies or friends, loved or hated, brilliantly awake or exhausted. Too much or too little.

If someone is dear to him, Víðarr is a fierce leader and protector. It's to the point of obsession. Safety above all, those he loves above all. Blood family and found family are one in the same to him, and he will gladly lay down his life to keep them whole. He will stand at the head of any army he leads, all blood and fury. This is a source of great pride.

There's a strange charisma to him. An air of mystery, rooted in how little he speaks. Víðarr does like to flirt, and he likes to charm. Maybe it's a bit manipulative, but it feels nice to have someone pretty wrapped around his fingers. He's an excellent listener, and really knows how to make someone how to feel special.

An important thing to know about this man is the fact that he's not just spiritual. There is a religious side to him that is more than just spirituality. With a love for the old gods in his heart that knows no bounds, it's to the point of absolute and unchained reverence. No matter how things go in the day to day, the gods have a plan for him. He trusts their will, their judgement, and the signs they leave for him.
