Where Chade’s coat is dark blues with pops of lighter ones, Ricin is the opposite. His base coat is the light azure blue of a clear summer day. Spots of a darker, deeper sapphire blue pepper his coat in seemingly random areas starting at his neck and ending by his tail.

A dark navy blue, reminiscent of the color of a fading night sky, covers the backs of both ears, trails down the sides of his face, under throat and chest and works its way up his back. Each paw is surrounded by the same blue that works its way up the back of his legs. The color paints the bottom of his tail and traces down toward his legs. Each eye is also surround by the navy blue.

Dots of white splatter the area around his eyes and lighten his paws from the tips until fading into the darker blue above it.

Finally, the last and, perhaps most defining feature, of Ricin is his eyes. They are the crimson red of freshly spilled blood and they watch the world with wary, uncertainty. appearance

Ricin is young and still growing. His personality is subject to change with every wolf he meets. Interactions with others will dictate his final outcome.


Life is never fair and Ricin knows this.

As pups, Ricin and his brother, Chade, learned from an early age what it felt like to be unwanted. Their mother was not loving toward the pups in anyway, often bullying and belittling her children. Ricin was considered weak due to a birth defect that gave him limited peripheral vision. His mother often singled him out to make fun of and this caused the bright blue boy to question his self-worth.

The only saving grace in the pups early months was their doting father. From that man, Ricin learned how spin words and weave tales to suit himself better. His father’s gift to him was a silver tongue and Ricin uses that to his advantage as often as possible. His words are dipped in honey and coated in sugar to hide the venom and poison that lay inside.

Because of the harsh conditions of their early months, the pups quickly paired up so that they had someone to watch their back. Ricin had expected be left out of this, since he was the weakest. So, when Chade chose Ricin to partner with, the weaker wolf quickly formed a deep and lasting bond. Loyalty is paramount to Ricin and, after his father died, he found out just how much loyalty pays in return.

Bonded by hard times and death, Ricin will never stray far from his twin side. While he might not be able to fight like Chade, Ricin will spin a tapestry of lies to any stranger so that he and his brother may benefit.
