Swathed in earthen tones, Grimoire took more after his father than he did his mother. While his mother's line is rich in unnatural tones and shades of color, Grim took more after the Ancora line in terms of simplicity. He wears rustic earthen tones much like his father, though they are a deeper and richer shade compared to Dragon's. He comes to stand just slightly taller than his late father at 40" in height. The majority of his base coat is swathed in earthen tones, reminiscent of clay with darker brown markings on his legs, his eyes, and his muzzle.

The fur along his neck, underside, the fringes of his thighs, and chest are a lighter brown - almost creamy shade - intermixed with lighter tones on his face and chest. The rest of his body sports various shades ranging from rich chocolate browns and russets, blending seamlessly and perfectly together like the perfect cup of hot cocoa. The male has deep golden eyes, sharp and inquisitive though his gaze often betrays indifference at times, especially if he doesn't particularly like you.

Though his father acquired his horns late in life, Grimoire was born with them. That, and a set of bear-like paws and claws, adding to a potentially imposing look. Lastly, Grim was born with a shorter, fluffy tail. Like many in the Ancora line, he took on the thicker, fluffier northern Ancora coat and so he appears bigger than he really is.

Loyal to those he comes to trust, Grimoire will fight tooth and nail for those he cares for and the things he believes in. He can be incredibly stubborn, however, and is reluctant to simply trust blindly just because someone is nice. Does he want to make friends? Yes. Does he find it difficult to do so? Absolutely. He isn't quite sure how to make friends and finds it awkward when trying to make small talk. Seldom does he initiate conversation, and finds it much easier if someone else talks first and is able to keep him engaged. It's possible that he may struggle with a conversation at first, but once he opens up and you're able to get past his quiet and stoic exterior, one might find he's actually a delight to talk to. When it comes to those he likes in a different way, he is a complete lovebug and will not hesitate to show his affection. Privately, in most situations. Though if he feels his interest (or mate) is threatened, he will not hesitate to fight for them and defend them and their honor.
