Sedna

After an unfortunate incident involving a witches bath after a prolonged outbreak of the ooze, Sedna changed. Her once monochrome coat darkened and warmed, a rich base of chocolate black swirling to reveal a galaxy of reds and yellows along her ribs and flanks. Glowing crystal spikes have grown into the fur around her neck and swirl beneath her eyes in a finger painting pattern where her opossum companion massaged a mysterious potion provided by the swarm of fireflies that took up residency in a trench coat. Her bones seem to be aching, and everything around her seems to be getting that little bit smaller than she remembered. Even her silver eyes have taken on a new fiery hue, those familiar with her family line might remark just how like her grandfathers they suddenly are.

Though she takes after her father in looks, there was never any questioning just whose daughter Sedna was. She is ambitious, like her mother before her, and craves recognition and stability above all else. She inherited a surprisingly lawful tendency despite the influence of her far more chaotic older siblings.

Named for the vengeful goddess of the sea, the girl’s mood can turn on a dime, tranquil and pleasant one minute, stormy and treacherous the next. When she uses her words, she might slip into a rushed slur, much like her mother before her, but when met with silence, one should never mistake it for ignorance. Words uttered in front of her may just come back to bite you when you least expect it.

The girl most often greets others with open respect, though be warned that disrespect will be served back in spades. The girl is strongly versed in non-verbal means of communication and may take offence to those stepping outside the bounds of acceptable behaviour.

Those familiar with her lineage wouldn’t mistake from whence she has come, it is for this reason, among others that the girl in in search of a clean start somewhere that her name carries no weight. She wishes to stand on her own merits, rather than on the merits of those who have come before her.
