In short, Askan is broad, dark and handsome. His fur is brown, with a smattering of greyish-tan along his forehead, shoulders, and haunches. Like most Selwyns, he is classified as medium, meaning that he isn't particularly tall. This is mainly due to his legs, which-much to his annoyance- are a little on the short side. To compensate for this, he's stout and built like a tank-or in other words, he's beef. To further add to his charms, Askan has a sharp, angular face with striking yellow eyes, that burn as bright as the midday sun. He rarely hides his emotions and so such spends a great deal of his time squinting or glowering at whatever irritates him. Arguably, this makes him even more hot as people love bad boys, am I right?

Simply put, Askan is a bit of a dick. He’s moody, arrogant and confrontational, the sort of man who makes terrible first impressions. It doesn’t take a lot to irritate him, even the slightest affront is enough to make Askan’s hackles rise. He often stomps about with a glower so fierce it could melt ice, but despite putting on a big grumpy show, Askan isn’t quite as violent as many would assume.

Despite his many flaws, he does have some redeeming qualities. Though Askan does his best to pretend otherwise, he is a caring and sensitive individual. He has few friends, but is incredibly loyal to those he cares about, he’s fiercely protective and would not hesitate to put his life on the line for their sake. He has a sharp and quick mind, but often neglects to use it as his temper has a way of bypassing his common sense.

In all, he’s a burnt marshmallow with a soft, gooey centre.

-Askan is of old, supposedly pure blood. Meaning that he and his fellow Selwyns are closely related to the wolves of old, those who roamed when humanity still walked the planet.
