Kaija

Kaija inherited her mother's slate grey base coat, her fur darkest near her forepaws and slowly growing lighter toward her back. Though most of her coat is that same slate grey, most of her under-quarters - from her belly up to her chest and muzzle - are a much lighter hue. The same tone can be found on the back of her hind flanks, beneath her tail, and across a portion of her middle back.

She possesses the trademark russet that is so common in the Jarvela line, in the form of sweeping marks beneath her eyes that trail down her cheeks. The same red is visible on the tips of her ears, as well as in markings on the sides of her tail and along both sides of her ribcage. Some subtle light grey ticking can be found along her sides, neck, and tail as well. She's also her mother's eyes, though Kaija's are a pale lilac, appearing almost silver in direct sunlight.

The most peculiar thing about her appearance though, other than the fact that she is uncharacteristically large and bulky even as a young child, is the two tusks that sprout from her upper jaw. They will be small as a child, only fully growing in once she becomes a yearling.

FIERCE, PASSIONATE - A true Jarvela-Ancora, through and through, Kaija will have a sometimes overwhelming strong personality, even as a pup. She has no qualms with standing up for herself, her siblings, and those that she loves. Sometimes her personality comes across a little too strong, and though as she gets older and realizes just how overbearing her passionate nature can be.... honestly, she just doesn't care, and will make little effort to dampen herself for anyone.

LOUD, SOCIAL - She has a way of making her presence known, no matter how many wolves are around her. Kaija won't be one to hide away in the shadows, instead thriving on being the center of attention, at least most of the time. Though she values her alone time when she wants it, usually she enjoys the company of others enough to happily demand it whenever she is able.

IMAGINATIVE - Perhaps due to how much time she will spend on her own, Kaija will grow to be wildly imaginative. It's not uncommon for her mind to grasp onto something and spin an extravagant story out of it, for whoever will listen. She will be especially drawn to her family's folklore, as well as that of other cultures.

INDEPENDENT - Kaija will not always play well with others. Independent to the core, she has her own way of thinking and convincing her of a different point of view will be difficult. Though fending for herself is natural for her, it also means sometimes she may have trouble relating to other wolves, more selfish than others tend to be. Due to her self-sufficient nature, Kaija also tends to be alarmingly short-sighted. She worries about the immediate future, rather than looking ahead, which can cause her to make some interesting decisions.
