Mortis
Mortis takes the blues from his mother's form, changed and different, but certainly the color never came from his father's side. The stripes of color that float across his midriff, legs, rump and tail would be a deep, azure blue. He has wings of black under his eyes, an echo of what's to come. Black highlights most of the blue, stripping above and below it in gentle brushstrokes.
His eyes the tones of his mothers, or fathers. The tone seems to be just right for one, or the other depending on gentleness or anger. He has the lofty height of his father, taking after the direwolf himself with a height of 45” Unlike the Warlord, or the brother he is most similar to, he is a dainty creature. All long-limbs and narrow shapes, with a height that scarcely seems to fight the giant wolf. In his maw, much like his father, will grow long, sharp canines with a deadly tip. Also like the Sire that bore him, he will grow feline-like claws across all his paws, in sheaths that can extend and retract at will. Across his back will be the strangest growth of all. Jutting from his sides will grow long, thick wings, layered in feathers that are as soft as down. Well these magnificent growths will not be strong enough to carry him in flight, they will be uniquely built for other traits. Sharpened at their tips like sharpened bone will make a weapon perfect for slashing. The thickness and versatility of the wings themselves will make them ideal for sweeping out the feet of his adversaries or blocking blows. |
For a large, intimidating creature born of steel and fire, and from a bloodline that had been bred for war, this boy is a surprisingly gentle soul. The type to pick up wounded birds and bring them home to Aunt Io to heal. He would wish to befriend the slaves of the pack, and ensure their happiness and wellbeing. He would cheer for his siblings, and loves his second-born brother Azure with all his heart despite the animosity between the two.
He has no ambition, save for the need to please his father. He will be desperate for the man's approval, more so with every time he fails Sirius. It will be this that pushes him out of his comfort zone, and into the desperate race for heir. After all, this competition is expected of him, pushed on to him, and well he is crushed by the weight of it he will do his best to please. He will be close to his a Mother who will be easy to love, and he will do so gladly. He loves his mother, and shares much of her gentle soul, and her fire when it comes to looking out for those they are charged to defend. He will extend it further, and wish to help others any time he can. He will likely be closest to his youngest and only sister Aslatiel, who loves him without any ulterior motive and cheers him on even when he fails. He will wish so badly to be good, and fight to find a balance that allows him to grow in this family that he loves. he will find, in the end, that he needs a wolf of sterner heart to balance him. to make the harder choices that he will struggle with. He has a female Kea called Saph & a Male Leopard called Osiris |
